Sometimes, well mostly really, it amazes me how good these records I keep getting, are. Never heard of many of them until they lie in my mail-box - Sea Monster being one of them. The surprise is bigger and to my excitement I can enjoy this super cd, which probably not will be found in my local record store, so cheers to the internet, where you all can get this through! Sea Monster is tough, outta-get-you rock with their own New York hillbilly-attitude. Clark Was A Fireman is a great tune which stands out in an almost Temptations! way, and their cover of one of my favourite country songs ever, Kris Kristoffersons Sunday Morning Coming Down, is already a classic here! The rest rocks pretty hard in an all around good production with the vocals loud and raw on top of it all. Needless to say, Sea Monster is highly recommended! Five stars for the cover model only! (No, I´ve not started giving out stars or anything yet.)
