Damn, what a rush they´re in! Incredibly hard´n heavy too. They got something going, but it´s not quite my style, anyway. But it´s a long time since I´ve heard something this heavy, and I´m actually a bit surprised how much I can take of this ep, usually I would have turned it off a long time ago, but somehow I keep on spinning the cd. The closest comparison I can think of is Funny Farm, an old band from Trondheim. The Harbour Hookers are from the same city, and hang around in the same bars, so I guess they´re influenced by Funny Farm. Fast, loud guitars over a heavy metal beat, with angry, to say the least, vocals on top. Don´t forget your ear-plugs!
