He´s been called a rock´n roll soldier and survivor, Peter Blast, and from what info I´ve got - that seem to be pretty well accurate. He´s been in the game for over 25 years in bands such as Degeneration (an American answer to the Sex Pistols), The Blast Factory and Junebug, and hanging out with Stiv Bators and Johnny Thunders. Explode is his second solo record, which I think could´ve been what Mr. Bators and/or Mr. Thunders would´ve sounded like if they were still among us. It´s a really cool record with quite a lot of potential hit singles on it. Blasts voice has an experience and a certain charm to it that it can dominate every style of rock´n roll and make it his own. Add his Keith Richards/Thunders riffs and you got a winner! Just listen to songs like Ya Better Reach For The Sky and As Sharp As A Knife, and then ease down to a beautiful ballad like The Last Word or And Just For You Too. Explode gets a new star every time I listen to it, which is now more than I can count on my fingers!
