Nine Pound Hammer
Live at Elm Street , Oslo

Nine Pound Hammer is such a great band. I love them. That's why it sort of pains me to write this review. Because live,
they really bored me. The second they started playing, I was all overexcited and happy. It lasted until about
the third song. All their songs sounds exactly the same live. It has something to do with the vocals, I think.
And thinking about it, I don't think I've ever listened to a whole NPH album. A couple of songs usually does it.
Anyways, a lot of people seemed to love it, and I was perfectly satisfied with sitting at the bar,
drinking beer and listening. They played a lot of good, well known songs, including "Hayseed Timebomb",
which seemed to be the song everyone came to hear.
The conclusion? Nine Pound Hammer is excellent in small portions at a time,
but I wouldn't recommend them live.
