Gatecrashers
5-track demo, 2004

This is the first time I hear this Oslo based band, I´ve always somehow missed their much talked-about live shows. Too bad really ´cause this is good! Glam all the way which makes me think of the happy ´80´s when Faster Pussycat and Mötley Crüe ruled my world. Gatecrashers sound like they won´t stop for noone, you´re just a fuck anyway if you don´t like it.
Well, good luck guys. It´s a tough world out there for those who wanna rock´n roll in all their glamour and excess.
But you know all about that.
This demo cd doesn´t quite do the band justice (street-talk I´ve picked up). None the less, it´s a stayer on my stereo this summer. The ballad type Backs To The Wall gets my 1st prise as well as Ain´t Got Time, a liqueur-soaked rocker which could´ve been an early Trashcan Darlings gem. The others follow closely with their hard attacking guitars and Stonys fitting voice. Right now you don´t have anything better to do than check out this band, and if you´re a nice girl maybe they´ll send you a copy. Watch out for Sunset Strip party-time when the Gatecrashers are near you!
